Up in about 20 minutes
- Pop 2 AAA batteries in each candle (rechargeables are best, see below).
- Stick the hooks to the ceiling and let them set for a few minutes.
- Tie a length of line to each candle and hang it at different heights. Uneven looks best.
- Turn the lights down and give the wand a flick.
The honest bit
- Batteries aren't included. Each candle takes 2 × AAA, so a 12 set needs 24. Buyers say they're hungry, so a pack of rechargeables will save you money by Christmas.
- Tying the line is a bit fiddly the first time. Put a podcast on.
- The hook glue is strong. On fresh or delicate paint, test one somewhere hidden first, or hang them from a curtain pole or light fitting instead.

I love hanging candles, you could improve the way of hanging them since they don't have any kind of hook or place to hang them with the thread and the thread it brings is very easy to make knots and that it is curled like a system to bring better and i also love the wand-shaped remote control, i have to say that i have bought a few more packs and the wand has already broken, so you have to take care of the remote controly otra cosa que pasa es que se activan solas al tocarlas, es decir, el mando de distancia funciona pero si les das un golpe se encienden solas.

Do they really look like they're floating?
From where you're sitting, yes. Each candle hangs on fine clear line, and once the room lights are down your eye goes to the flames, not the line. Up close in daylight you'll spot it, just like any hanging decoration. With the lights low, the effect holds.
Does the wand actually turn them on?
Yes. The wand is the remote. Point it towards the candles, press, and they all come on together; press again and they all go off. No app, no pairing, no lighter. It's the bit everyone wants a go at.
12 or 24: which should I get?
12 is the right size for a dining table, a window or a mantel. 24 is for a whole room, the stairs or a hallway, or for splitting between two spaces, since it comes with two wands. Per candle, the 24 set works out cheaper (£2.50 vs £3.33). If you're unsure, go by the space: one focal spot, 12; a room you want to transform, 24.
What about batteries?
Batteries aren't included. Each candle takes 2 × AAA, so a 12 set needs 24. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out on the day. Several buyers mention they get through batteries, so a pack of rechargeable AAAs is the smart move: charge once, use them all season, and next year too.
Will the hooks damage my ceiling? I'm renting.
The hooks are adhesive, and the glue is strong. That's why they stay up, but on fresh or delicate paint it can lift a little when removed. If you're renting, you don't need the ceiling at all: tie them to a curtain pole, a light fitting, a beam or a shelf edge. Standing them in candle holders works too.
Is it a pain to set up?
It's a 20-minute job for 12. Batteries in, hooks up, tie a length of line to each candle, hang at different heights. Tying the line is the fiddly part the first time, so put something on in the background. After that it's done for the season, and taking them down to store is quick.
Are they safe around kids and pets?
There's no flame, no heat and no wax, so nothing can catch or drip. That's the whole reason people choose these over real candles near curtains, excited children and waggy tails. Keep batteries and the small hooks out of reach of little ones, as with any battery product.
Will it arrive in time for Halloween or Christmas?
Delivery to the UK is free and tracked, and usually takes 8–15 business days. To have them up for Halloween, order by 10 October. For Christmas, order by 1 December. After those dates we can't promise it'll make it.
What if something arrives broken or doesn't work?
Send us a photo or short video within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a free replacement or give you a full refund. You choose which. In most cases you won't need to send anything back. We reply within one business day.
What if I just don't love them?
UK customers can cancel within 14 days of delivery for any reason. Let us know by email, send them back unused and complete, and we'll refund the price you paid (return postage is on you). Full details are on our returns page.
Can I use them outside?
They're designed for indoors. A covered porch or a conservatory is fine, but keep them out of rain and damp.
